The money was good but I knew that something was missing in my life. Despite the excellent wages, I could not bear the thought of sitting behind a bench for the rest of my working life. Instead, I worked hard and saved hard for a year and a half before deciding to leave to fulfil my ambition. The money I'd saved put me in good stead for the next 2 years while I studied full-time at Farnborough College. It was hard work but I finished the course and left a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, with NVQ levels 2 and 3 in beauty therapy. Once I'd qualified, I knew without any shadow of a doubt that I'd made the right decision. It was all I'd ever really wanted to do and now I'd finally realised my ambition! I have now worked for two and a half years at a well-established salon in Guildford Surrey, where I have gained valuable knowledge in all aspects of the beauty industry. I really enjoy my work and hope that one day I can run my own health and beauty clinic and finally fulfil all my goals!
